USAGE

Usage

  1. Launch HFW_MM.exe

  2. Select Game Folder: Click Browse, choose the root of your HFW installation (the folder containing HorizonForbiddenWest.exe). For example "E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition"

  3. Drag & Drop: Drag mod folders or ZIPs into the drag and drop area.

  4. Choose Variations: If prompted, select the variation you want to install or simply Import All.

  5. Inspect: Click to expand each mod and view its variation entries. The Preview Panel on the right displays a visual preview along with metadata details.

  6. Activate: Select the checkbox next to the variation you want to install. Only one variation can be enabled per mod at a time.

  7. Pack: Click Pack Activated Mods to build a new package.20.00.core.stream and get placed inside the game package/ar.

Best Practices

  • Back up your game’s package/ and/or game saves folder externally before major changes.

  • Keep Decima_pack.exe in the manager folder for correct output placement.

  • Use Un-Check All before selecting specific mods to avoid mistakes.

  • Close the game to avoid file-lock issues during Restoring or Packing.

Modified Game Files Detected (Hash Mismatch) If a modified streaming_graph.core file is found, a pop-up will notify you and suggest removing it. You can safely ignore this warning if you're aware of the modification. However, if you experience crashes, instability, or unusual behavior, it's strongly recommended to remove the file before using Restore Game Files to ensure proper recovery.
